Charlton Chess Club
NEW! the playing of chess variants and similar board games of skill is allowed, e.g. Draughts, Shogi, Xiangqi, Go.
We meet at Charlton House, Charlton Road, London, SE7 8RE, every Tuesday evening from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.
Charlton House is a Grade 1 listed Jacobean mansion owned by Greenwich Council and used as a community centre.
Charlton Chess Club runs three teams in the Kent League and, jointly with Beckenham, one team in the London League. We are affiliated to the Kent County Chess Association.
We run internal tournaments and occasional special events. Simul's, 5-minute tournaments, quick play events.
All standards of player and juniors are welcome.
Annual membership is £40 (includes Kent and ECF registration). There are no other charges.
Concessions £20. Juniors £5.
